About The Ranch

SEIDLER RANCH

Seidler Ranch, Inc. is a traditional cow/calf operation located on the western edge of the Sandhills.  The home place is situated northeast of Alliance in Sheridan and Box Butte Counties. The ranch also consists of 10,000 acres by Merriman in Cherry County. Sandhills prairie and meadows make up the landscape of the Seidler Ranch. Calving begins in February for heifers and in March for Cows. Roger and Patty have developed a quality A.I. breeding program with a focus on docility. They also place tremendous value in stockmanship and in providing a high standard of care to their livestock.

Roger and Patty believe the future of family ranching depends on the active participation of the next generation. They are eager to provide an opportunity to someone with a passionate interest in ranching, recognizing the integral role they will play in shaping the future of the industry. They are eager to contribute not only to an intern's experience but also to recognize the value of their contributions to the future of family ranching.
